Duel Booting XP and Windows Vista

okay i have tryed working with the easybcd and its not working. i am lost on what to do. Thanks for any help.

I gave up on trying to do this. There's a long story behind it that I don't feel up to typing at the moment. I'll continue tomorrow when I do feel up to it. Bottom line is Vista doesn't like multiple partitions. It wants to be the only one.

if you have vista professional or ultimate, you can download microsoft virtual pc free and run xp from there. From what I understand, Windows 7 editions (above home) includes virtual pc.

That is incorrect. You have to download the VirtualPC component and XP mode if you want it. Enterprise and Ultimate editions only I believe.
