Hey all.

I purchased CA Suite in August and have been running it no problem since.

I recently moved to my sisters for a couple of weeks (With my machine)

When I moved back to mine, I noticed that I could not sign into MSN.

After trying a few things, I noticed if I disabled my firewall, then i could log into MSN.
I used to be able to log in to MSN without disabling my firewall, at the property I am at now, using the same router and everything.

I can log into AMSN on my laptop (Running Linux on Laptop)
And as disabling my firewall allows me to log into MSN, i guess it is my firewall.

I also noticed that when I go to FTP something, I can log into the server and everything, but when I upload a file, it does not upload.
Unless I disable my firewall.

I have checked the Firewall settings and it is set to allow MSN and FileZilla (My FTP Client) access.

I can only assume that an update has been run on my firewall.

Has anyone got any ideas how to allow FTP and MSN Log in again?

Make a test. Instead of using your FTP client, open a command prompt and run ftp server_name. Here's an example of the syntax. Replace the server name or IP with your own as well as the user name, password and file to upload.

C:\>ftp 192.168.0.200
Connected to 192.168.0.200.
220 queyosepa.queyosepa.local FTP server (Version 6.00LS) ready.
User (192.168.0.200:(none)): don2007
331 Password required for don2007.
Password:
230 User don2007 logged in.
ftp> binary
200 Type set to I.
ftp> put file
ftp> transfer complete

Let me know if the transfer completes or not.
Side note: I've never used an FTP client. I've always done command line no matter if it's Windows or Unix.

Thanks for that, the FTP problem seemed to correct itself, I could upload both via DOS and Client (FileZilla)

I contacted Tech Support re my MSN not logging in, the Security levels were set to HIGH, which was blocking MSN logging in, just set the Security Levels to medium and managed to log in, Cheers anyway

Ok, I'm glad to hear that it's all resolved.
