Our Terminal server users are unable to run flash player and view video in web pages. We are using Flash 10 and IE7. It works great for a user with admin rights. How do I fix this?

Seems to me thats a windows authentication issue. Out of curiosity have you tried using Firefox instead? IE is so integrated into windows that it might have some security policies that don't apply to FF.

If your admin accounts are not having problems then it is a permission issue.

The problem is due to the Active X control as best I could find.

Uninstall, the Flash Player and the Active X control by using the uninstaller in this link
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewCon ... d=tn_14157

Then download and install the Full Standalone installer here:
http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html
here:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/
or at Adobe:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

There is a separate standalone installer for Firefox, Safari and Opera.

(I would recommend rebooting after uninstalling and making sure no restricted users are logged in when you do the standalone install)

I take it that solved the problem then? You might want to inform the other forums where you posted this if it did. When I searched for a solution I kept finding your other posts.
