Hi,
I am having an issue with folder rights off of a share.

Users have the rights to create folders. But I do not want them to be able to delete any files or folders but still have the ability to rename them. It seems to me that these two things go hand in hand. Is it true that in order for them to be able to re-name a folder they have to have delete rights?

Thanks

yes you cant let a user be able to rename a folder and not have access to delete it. the only option you have is a check box for read only.

their might be a third parity app out their that will help you tho you should try to google it. :)
