I have two questions:

OS: Windows 2000 SP4 IBM Thinkpad T20 Model 2647-95U with 256 MB of RAM

1. I have a lot of FOUND.* folders with .CHK files from previous crashes. I have done a successful "chkdsk /r /f " since the last crash and also defragmented hard drive a couple of times. Would it be ok to now delete all the FOUND* folders.

2. My Task Manager icon does not show up in the System Tray upon normal boot-up. I can invoke it with ctrl-alt-del and it opens up fine but when I close the open window there is no icon in the Tray. Is this the normal behaviour or is the icon supposed to be there all the time ?

Thx.

I answered number two in your other post. As far as number one goes, back the files up just in case and then delete them, if it screws something up restore the files.
