I wonder if anyone can help me?

I have windows server 2003 running on my desktop.... but I want to revert back to Windows XP Pro.

So... I insert the startup disk which i have created and then try when command prompt appears, try to re-format. To to this, I need to change from the standard A:\> to C:\> (which is my main drive) although, it is not letting me do this.

I have tried every combo under the sun and nothing... any suggestions?

After your POST test runs you will see an option to enter setup. Typically F2 or F1. Enter setup and find the option to change your boot sequence. Change your CD drive to be your first boot device. Save your settings and exit and on reboot you should automatically boot to the XP CD and your install should start. You don't need the floppy to install XP. You just need to boot to the CD. You will have the opportunity to delete existing partitions and reformat.
