I've been trying to use norton Ghost for the past few days. I read that you can ghost an entire hard drive etc.... Is there a way to ghost just certain files. I'm running TaxWise and would like to back up just a few folders every few days. I've played with ghost on sveral occasions and was only able to do an entire drive. Is it possible to do what I'm trying t6o do

I haven't had extensive use of Norton Ghost but I'm sure you cannot do individual files and folders. The only way I can think of is to make a separate partition for those few folders which is alot of hassle for just a few folders. I'd suggest just using the Backup program(If you haven't come accross it in XP its in Start -> Accessories -> System Tools, its always in "accessories" on all windows installations) that comes with Windows, or obtain a third party backup utility. There are lots floating around and a few freeware ones I believe.

If you're just doing files & folders, then why not just use regular CD Burning software? Drag over a bunch of files, burn 'em, away you go :)

Ghost is for disks & partitions.
