Google Results are all Ads!

For some odd reason, when ever I use google, all the results are ads.. I looked it up as much I could, and while I found a lot of articled about the problem, I found none for a solution. Could anyone here shed some light on what the problem may be? I am using firefox3 on Win XP.

When you open Google, check the top left.
Make sure "Web" is selected, and not "Shopping"

I agree. They are called category searching. Just check your category.

Hi. I'm having this problem too, but I've checked and it's not shopping that's checked. For instance if I search google on google, the normal results are:

The descriptions are the same but the links are different.

And I've also noticed that if I'm signed into my google account, then I get the normal results. If I'm not signed in, then I get the results with the links to the ads.
