GroupPolicy Permission

i have maintain one windows 2003 server and 75 windows xp sp2 client machine i have one problem i was apply group policy on every user not able access mycomputer G: Drive (windows Explorer) but at the same time every user access to only this via Internet Expolrer file menu open to access G: Drive Via group policy how will do please help me.

What is the G: drive? Is it a local drive or a mapped network drive?

Which Group Policy did you set to deny access to this drive?

This is network-location drive.

i have set ou via group policy user configuration-admin template- windows component-windowsexplorer-prevent access mycomp and hide this specified drive)

but somebody access the file route DirectoryBrowsing throug IIS-SITE

So the G: drive is a mapped drive to a share somewhere on a file server and you do not want anyone to access this folder?

Why not just unmap it? Or change the security permissions to deny access?

Under the policy you enable which one did you enable? Are you aware that you have to edit the .adm file to specify other drives besides the A:, B: and C: drive unless you select Restrict All Drives?

i need disable network drive through group policy every body access map drive as same time some body not access via mycomputer i donot no how to disable network drive

my problem is

. some user access this drive via Internet Expolrer

. and i deny the user not access windows expolrer (MYCOMPUTER DRIVE VIA)

. finally iis via and mycomputer via everyone user not access drive. except administrator

. how to use network directory (map drive) from IIS 6.0

please help me
