Hello,

Having problems with one of the computers at work.

Everytime the user of that computer closes IE it proceeds to tell her that 'Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close'
It does this everytime. It then, only sometimes, opens up Dr. Watson debugger and then freezes and she has to restart her computer.

Computer has been scanned for viruses. I dont really want to have to reinstall IE as it is all set up with different things to do with her typing in japanese.

IE Version 7.0

Thanks,

Instead of going crazy, download Firefox, import the favorites and let her use that.

Installing FF is not a fix.

I had this same thing on one of my machines and did the following.

I uninstalled IE7
Rebooted the computer.
Reinstalled IE7.
Problem fixed.

Give it a shot, it only takes a few minutes.

"I dont really want to have to reinstall IE as it is all set up with different things to do with her typing in japanese." they have stated they dnt want to reset if they really don;t have to lol i would try system restore first is that doesn't work then reinstall.
