Ok, my system was running slower than a slug...

Open my task manager and there is lexbces.exe using 99% CPU... once I ended the process my system return to normal

Upon investigating I learn its for lexmark printers... only problem I don't have and never have had a lexmark printer.

I'm not sure where it came from? Or why it was activated today... How do I get rid of it?

I found it in the following directories...

Lexbces (application) C:\I386 5/2/2003
Lexbces . exe - 26095c66 . pf (pf file) C:\Windows\Prefetch 10/12/2009 [file name without spaces, couldn't get post to go through w/out spaces]
Lexbces (application) C:\Windows\System32 5/2/2003
Lexbces (application) C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86\3 5/2/2003
Lexbces (application) C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86\dell_a920fc30 5/2/2003

Any assistance ... would be appreciated

Look at add & remove programs to see if any Lexmark programs are there. Uninstall them if they exist. If the PC were once part of a network, it could be from that. If nothing is there, just delete all instances of the file.
