Hi all,
Somehow over the past week or so I have obtained a copy of the NCase adware on my computer. I'm not sure how it arrived here , but it has been causing me many problems. Namely, any time I attempt to view a stereotypical online shopping website (namely Amazon, Best Buy, and E-Bay) I am not able to view their sites or search their sites. Whenever I attempt to do this I am taken directly to http://no. I also am sent to that website when I visit the Mcafee website. I have followed the following directions from Symantec to attempt to remove it, but the msbb.exe file continues to reappear. As a second step I downloaded both Ad-Aware and Spy Bot, and both "supposedly" delete all the files that it can find, yet when I restart the computer the NCase software has been reinstalled. I'm assuming that it is a file on my hard drive that is causing it to replicate, because I have tried numerous times to disinfect my computer while remaining disconnected from my school network. Anywho, enough of my rambling. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Peace,
Jimmy

This is how I removed it yesterday from a computer at work and the ncase removal tools appeared to work just fine:

If the actual Ncase removal tools don't work, then try this from pestpatrol:

Thanks for the site. NCase or any of its aliases do not show up in the add/remove programs box, so I'm going to give the pest patrol method a shot. Thanks once again.

Peace,
Jimmy
