Help! Monitor goes off and on(flashing)

please. help me. my monitor keeps flashing on and off. i don't know what's the cause of this. i don't know this is called. i recently installed superantispyware to check the problem since AVG didn't detect anything. there were registry problems like legacy_mywebsearch. it was sent to quarantine. then i deleted it but the problem still occurs. what will i do?
