How is your D-Link router configured? Are you using any security like WEP or WPA? Have you followed all of the instructions that came with your router? Have you tried setting the router back to default and starting over?

Is this your router?
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6
If so check which revision it is
http://www.dlink.com/products/support.a ... tallGuides

I'll look at the product manuals and see what I can do for you.

Also, can you perform the following steps and post what you get here.

Make sure you are not connected to your neighbors wireless.

Click Start
Click Run
Type cmd and press enter
Type ipconfig /all and press enter

whats your authentication protocol? PPPoE or DHCP? ask your ISP if you dont know it, did you try to connect just using the modem? YOU SAY you only have a DLINK router, so how do you wanna connect to the internet with just a router? you need a modem!
