How to hide files and folders in Windows XP? (I mean not “hidden” attribute). I want no-one to see them no way.

That is the only way to do it. Set the folder to hidden and then set up your folder options to not show hidden files. If you want added protection you could encrypt the folder as well and then only you can open it or setup NTFS permissions that only allows your user account access if the hidden folder is found.

well it seems like you are trying to hide something very valuable there ... what I used to do (with porn), was to firstly put it all into one folder, then I zipped the folder, then I renamed the zipped folder to a .dat, then I moved that file somewhere like my windows folder and then set it's attribute to hidden ... now this was one helluva mission to pull every time you want to access those files, but it was almost impossible to find ...
Let's leave all our *plum* where it is and go live in the jungle ...
