Home Page Hijacked in IE

The home page in IE won't be changed from http://www.gatewaybiz.com. I have tried everything I could think of (Hijackthis, MS Antispyware, AdAware, Spybot). I also ran Hijackthis in safe mode, but the line referring to the home page keeps coming back.
There's also an item 2005525154226_mcinfo.exe /insfin (see log below) that just won't go away.
I have read a similar item on this site (http://www.ozzu.com/mswindows-forum/have-problem-with-svchost-exe-t49641.html) and even though the description is not entirely identical, I have tried what was suggested, without success.
If any can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Larz,
Thanks for the response. I tried what you suggested, but that didn't work. To make sure, I also disabled System Restore before making these modifications. Also, I deleted the temp folder of other accounts on the computer. Finally, temple is a valid domain name, so I didn't delete any of these entries. Thanks again for looking into this.

Have you tried removing 2005525154226_mcinfo.exe in safe mode?
"mcinfo.exe" is a part of McAfee Security Suite. Have you ever used McAfee online scanning?
I found this by googling http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/mcinfo/
I don't know though but that may be a fake one.
This is quite suspicious.
The homepage is changing by some policies which I am unable to figure out. Soon someone will point out something for you.
Your homepage is locked by these two
Do you know the domain "temple" ?
If this Domain does not belong to your ISP, or your firms network, these entries should be fixed. 'SearchList' entries should be fixed too.

Hi fviens, welcome to Ozzu and sorry for the delay. Here's what you have to do:
1.- Run HijackThis and check the following items, don't click fix yet:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.lavasoft.de/help/aw/evhelp/0.htm
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [msci] C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\2005525154226_mcinfo.exe /insfin
I am assuming your computer is not in a network nor in any domain, if so, check this ones too and let HijackThis fix them:
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O6 - HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = temple
O17 - HKLM\Software\..\Telephony: DomainName = temple
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = temple
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = temple
2.- Now close ALL windows & browsers and click FIX CHECKED
3.- Reboot into Safe Mode.
Tap F8 repeatedly when your machine starts to boot up.
Select 'Safe Mode' from the options that appear
4.- Set Windows to 'Show all files & folders'.
Click Start > My Computer> Tools> Folder Options>
On the View tab make sure that you:-
Select 'Show Hidden Files & Folders'
Uncheck 'Hide file extensions for known file types'.
Uncheck 'Hide protected operating system files'.
Click OK.
5.- Delete the content of the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp
6.- Reboot normaly
7.- When finish post a fresh HijackLog here to see if it is clean.
1.- Run HijackThis and check the following items, don't click fix yet:

I know this is an old topic, but in case someone else runs into this - and it is the first page to come up in a google searge I thought I'd post this:
If you get this problem, check the following registry entry:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
FirstHomePage
Mine was set to http://www.gatewaybiz.com so when a new account is created the first page to go to is this - not sure if it is malware, it is a Gateway PC so it may have come with the PC. Just change it to the default you want.
