i have the same problem i have it installed on my xp machine but i can't get a shared driver to load for windows9x system

hp deskjet 720 series
BTW i have a mac
is there a way for the mac to print throguh the deskjet?
i would really like help

Install the drivers on your 98 and Mac machine separately (download them if you need to from the manufacturers site) As long as the printer is shared, and all machines can see each other when you install the printer on the 98 and Mac machines, browse to the printer on the XP, capture the port and you should be working. (I can't speak for the MAC, but I know the 98 machine will do it. That's the way mine is connected.)
