how do i delete TROJ_DYFUCA.BX? sorry if i've posted this a t a wrong place.. :oops: ...my friend is having problems with his laptop. he did scan on a safe mode using Spybot..but the trojan thingy is still there. this is what he told me...is there any other way to remove the trojan? is it safe to just leave it alone? tks in advance.

well first of all, a trojen is a virus that allows hackers to enter your computer..... so NO it is not safe to leave on your computer, you realy need to get rid of it now before someone accesses your system. Use this free online virus scan, Scan and attempt to clean the virus off your system. if it fails to clean the virus DELETE it.
use this site to scan it is the best free online virus scan out there.

Hi there.....dyfuca is a particularly annoying one to rid yourself of....hehe.....I need the manual removal instructions.....your link is no longer working.......I have one on the workbench here that I know has it....I've seen it before.....only.....its so bad I can't get internet explorer to work at all....so.....I can't scan with trendmicro housecall.....if the manual removal works.....please send me another link.....or just the instructions.......I've shot spybot at it....and it found dyfuca....so I know its there....thanks a bunch...

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove DyFuCA manually. Please notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If DyFuCA remains on your system after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

1. Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
2. Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {8F4E5661-F99E-4B3E-8D85-0EA71C0748E4}, if it exists.
3. Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {8F4E5661-F99E-4B3E-8D85-0EA71C0748E4}, if it exists.
4. Exit the registry editor.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Delete Wsem*.dll, where * represents 3 random digits.
7. Delete "c:\Programs Files\dialers\".
