I would like to know how to hide some folders in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 from public view so no one can browse through it or even view the folders themselves.

Are you talking about public folders on an Exchange server domain? If so an admin has to do that and should know how.

no, not on exchange. I am at home and using SMTP. I have a folder separated from inbox which any mail with a certain rule goes in there. I want that folder hidden to anyone opening outlook. since I am not the only one using this same email they can also read everything that comes in too.
