Hi,
Because of a System failure I'd like to install Windows XP SP2 but of a different version than the one already installed on my machine - I don't have the original CD. Is there anything I should do - or be aware of - before proceeding ?

Thank you !

I'm curious how you are planning to install XP without a CD?

Just be sure to format the hard drive prior to installing.

I do have a CD of Windows XP but not of the same version than the one already installed.
How do I proceed to format my hard drive before installation ?

You can do the format during the installation process of XP.
