Hi, the MOMENT my computer loads i get an explorer box which say this program has performed an illegal action and will shut down,everyones had this, its as follows

when i try to open up anything dealing with windows from control panel to my documents another and another illegal action posts up shutting down explorer, i did research and d/l 401comupd.exe and it says i dont need this update, i replaced the comctl32.dll and still doesnt work, i believe it has something to do with the i-net xplorer i have, i used cwshredder doesnt help, and my home page keeps getting jacked and replaced with any help would b great. thx for looking

Do not run Hijack This from a temporary folder. HJT makes backups for items that are fixed. Any backups saved in a temporary folder run the risk of being deleted. Backups are important in case a previous fix needs to be restored. It's best to make a permanent folder: C:\HJT this for example. Any place other than a temporary folder is fine.

If you have your own anti-virus program, please update it and do a complete scan.
