Invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and then press any key.

I get this error from time to time, even when there is no disk in the computer. There's no CD or floppydisk inserted. To solve the problem, I restart the computer, and all is fine.

I'd rather not go through the problem, and sovle it once and for all. Does anyone know the problem and solution? I already went on Google to see what others said, but no luck.

1. The computer has no viruses.
2. There's no harddrive failure. There are no problems with the harddrive.
3. There are no cord problems, because the computer works just fine when its restarted.
4. Since restarting is a temporary solution, the problem can't be that the boot up location is on the A drive. Its set on C (main drive), because that's where it always goes.

After all this, what could be the problem and what can I do?

That's not possible. If restarting it is a temporary solution, are you telling me that the OS suddenly comes back after restarting? It doesn't make sense for OS to somehow disappear and re-appear after the computer has been restarted.
