In my laptop, I have Jcreator Pro and LE.
The Pro has overdue and I uninstalled it.

All the previous saved programs are opened with Pro.

After uninstalling, the computer now assume I still use it to open which is not.

As I click on any saved program, I have to use open with:

So I go to browse and search for Java LE and click on it but to no avail.

It forces me to use Notepad, Adobe, MWord etc.

How do I set it so it will open with LE from now on??

Open explorer, go to tools, folders, file types, highlight the extension that you want to change and click change. Set it to the program you want.

Don, Are you sure what you're talking about? It's a program, What does it have to do with IE?

I did as you said and found NO folder. Stuck.

Sorry if I'm rude. I'm just being that for myself.

explorer is not Internet Explorer.

It was moved because we are talking about a Windows application.

George L: As Grinch said, Explorer and IE are not the same and if you go back to my post, you will see that I didn't say internet explorer.

Click start, run, type c: and press enter. The follow the instructions in my last post.

Yes, Indeed Don, my big fault acting smart. So I already did what you said in your post before this (yesterday), and it brings me to change the program open with ( Java File ) and I changed to other programs. I couldn't find any appropriate program to open, Even though I have this Java LE in my computer, I couldn't seem to choose it, and I had to use something else, eg. Notepad etc.

If you want to change it to a program that's not on the list, there is a choice to browse for the program you want. I thought you would see that.

Don, yup. Did the browsing and I think the prob is now not so more about the Windows app I am not understanding. I understood what you information is about But the JCreator LE is kinda weird. It doesn't show up in my program files where i browse and when I see the icon, I clicked to open with it doesn't come along. It just sends me back to the windows where I choose programs on the list or browse a program.

Search for it using the search box and then follow the same path when you use browse in the change option. I hope that made sense.
