Hello fragsyg. Welcome to ozzu. :)

Does this happen randomly or when you do something specific?

Hi Jim,

It happens only when Im trying to input data. I start typing, it gives me the error msg, and shuts the application down!!

Is this a typical problem??

thanx for your help!

I've never used ACT! before so I'm not sure. There is a support page which may be of some help:

http://www.act.com/support/technicalsupport/index.cfm

I hope we're talking about the same application. :)

Other questions to consider:

Has this error always occured or has it just started recently?

Have you installed any software or hardware or made any other changes to your system just before the errors started?

Here is a Microsoft Knowledge base with a section that covers Kernel32 errors. Scroll halfway down and you will find that section:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -GB;835571

As you can see, many different things can cause this error. See if any of the possible causes match your situation and we can try to figure out where to go from there.

Hello again.

Think ive tried everything! took win98 off and replaced with ME. everything looked ok at first, then blam, same error report! Now im really stuck for ideas.........looked at microsoft site, and tried some of their solutions, till it all got a bit tech for me. Then went for the replace os option!

Is it time to call in the experts, or cut my losses and get my sledgehammer out !!

Any ideas appreciated!

Hi, fragsyg. I've never used Act either but here is a support page from them with some info. Seems everythig is related to printer drivers, check it out:
