Hi,

I recently updated a Windows 2000 machine with all the Microsoft updates.

However when I rebooted to apply the changes It stopped on the
blue screen saying: "Kmode_exception not handled."

Has anyone seen this before?

thanks

Nope. You could try 'last known good' on boot if you get that screen. Otherwise maybe safe mode and try and uninstall whichever update you think might have caused it.

I'm doing that right now. But the problem is I installed about 20 updates from the Microsoft site.

I have remvoved 10 and still doesnt boot up.

The only issue is that its the VP's laptop and he is going at 2pm!!!!!!
