Hi,

What software would you advise to keep the PC good and clean.

So far I've got Mc Afee ANti Virus plus the Firewall and a Spysweeper. Is there anything else I need?

Thanks

Don't just rely completely on software. Good computing practices and habits are just as important (if not more important) as malware detection programs.

Be smart about what you do online.
- Don't download unknown things from websites and email;
- Keep your virus definitions up to date (yes, that probably means paying for the subscription);
- Run a complete system virus scan every day if possible;
- Be careful about what information you give out about yourself online;
- Choose strong passwords, especially when dealing with sensitive information such as online banking.

I run minimal anti-malware applications on my PC and it's always clean as a whistle. Stay away from the things that are likely to infect you in the first place and you'll have very little to worry about.
