I know that this is probly a simple question, but this is making me REALLY mad... I was screwing around with folder settings and stuff, and I somhow set "Search" as default for when you double click a folder... How do I set it back to open as default? Thanks!

Not sure if this will fix it, but:

In an explorer window, go tools>folder options>file types then scroll down to 'folder' then click on advanced (at the bottom).

When I do that I only see open and explore, so I don't know what you did to get an option of search (maybe click 'new'), but click on one of those then 'set default'. I like explore.

Hope that helps.

THANKYOU!!! The only thing that I am wondering about is how to make it open in the same window? Thanks again!

There is a registry hack (found it on annoyances.org)
But it doesn't look pretty. Probably a good idea to back up your registry before you try this.
