Hello, I am new here. Thank you for your good works with others. I have gone through the suggestions and tried to remove the problem on this computer. I wanted someone to check the log files to see if there is more work to be done.

(This is a friend's computer and problem. I am going to make them use firefox from now on)

There's some other questionable entries in your log, but they may be legitimate depending on your system. Run your log through this analyzer and see if you recognize anything legit that might be flagged as bad.

spork,

Thanks for the help. It is almost back to normal.

I am still getting one popup in IE, even though it is not running and set to offline. It gives the usual babble, warning about hackers and viruses. The one interesting thing is that when you close the window, it gives a sound like a cow's "moo". Any idea what is causing this?

Why would you want to get rid of that? :D

Scan with HJT again and post a new log, I'll see if I missed anything.
