So I'm trying to find better ways to monitor who's on my network and being able to communicate with them as well.

Is there a program that would do this? I'm running Windows Server 2k3 network.

thanks all!

I use UltraVNC. Been using it for years. Much nicer than remote desktop in my opinion.

It's a perfect support tool as well as a variety of other things.

Can be run in stealth mode
Can monitor users desktop and disable your mouse and keyboard inputs.
Great for remote troubleshooting.
Can initiate chat with remote user.

UltraVNC is a good free solution.

We use Dameware here. I like it more than UltraVNC, it is full of nice features like remote registry, services, remote cmdline, processes, eventvwr and you can send messages as long as the messenger service is running.

In Dameware you can see who is currently logged into a certain computer.
