i am not talking about msn messanger just chat softwere that needs to download to chat online can any one help

Depends on what your wanting really, Theres numerous web based chat sites, I believe Yahoo has one. For webcam based chat MS Netmeeting is the only one I know of though I'm sure there are others. And for text based the most commonly used ones are probably ICQ http://www.icq.com and mIRC http://www.mirc.com

no i mean just going into chat on msn.com and the box dont pop up
the one that you got to say yes to download the softwere
