MSN freezes when signing in/opening conversation

MSN has recently begun doing this to me, and it's very upsetting.

Everytime I sign into MSN, it loads and everything, but then as soon as I click on anyone's window to open to talk to them, it freezes, goes white, and I have to close it.

I haven't been able to talk to anyone.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and I don't know what to do anymore.

If I could get some help that would be so amazing and I would be so incredibly thankful.
