the new MSN Messenger just came out. if you guys have it can you please tell me if it is worth geting. or to stick with 5.0. thanks

i only use AIM. I can't stand MSN messenger, sorry.

msn...doesn't the ms stand for microsoft? now I wont be hypocritical, I have windows 98 on my computer, but only because I like to game

I also have mandrake 9.1 on this one, and a solo operating system upstairs...

No I dont use MSN, sry, I'm sure its packed full of goodies for you to use tho.

And one last thing, why does AOL have international sites?

- just windows icones but untill now there is no new real update if i can say on msn server , always the same , & even that , MSN Messenger stay the top rated chat software all over the world .

MSN 6 is great... there is a beta version and a public preview. The beta is leaked, and when Microsoft found out about it.. they put a stop to the program being used and released a public preview. I actually reccomend updating to it. It's quite different...add's more of a virtualality to it which display pics of the person ur chatting to...custom backgrounds for each friend, etc.

i love it, but some of the games dont work.

Yeh, some of the games don't work...some do. I think it depends on the person that ur trying to play with...because sometimes when i choose to play a certain person, it says game not available. But when i try it with someone else, it does work. Weird huh? Oh well, it's only a public preview...not a final release.

when do they release the final one? i got mine from http://www.msn.com and it said it was the newone.

it was only because trillian wasnt delivering some of my messages I had to give in and download messenger

I have 6.0 and it works good, I like it built in webcam too

trillian used to rock, but now all the messenger services are putting their foot down on third party service providers like Trillian. So they are making changes to their product to make it harder for users on trillian...

it was always inevitable...
