I don't think I'm allowed to post in the Web site design and development section yet.
So, I will post here.
multiple browsers:
I have run the profile manager by typing
"C:\Program Files\ALternateFox\firefox" -ProfileManager
and also
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox" -ProfileManager
then I made a shortcut to run this.
I have several profiles I wish to maintain.
I have only now created these.
I want to load the browser with the respective profile with a shortcut.
What do I type in the shortcut to access the particular profile?
For example, I have a profile called "TOR user" which I want to use to experiment with a TOR addon and TOR

software.
Do I use the run approach? Which installation directory need I use, C:\Program Files\ALternateFox OR C:\Program

Files\Mozilla Firefox?
Do I need a separate installation for each profile?
Under run what is the proper input to run this and other particular profiles?
I read about this on the Web where I read: "c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox" -P firefox
-- is input for the profile named firefox. I emulated this, (with my profiles' names, of course) but to no avail, at least not from the run command.

I am able to load my profile only after being presented with the profile manager and pressing the "start firefox"

button(enter won't suffice)

In loading my profile I have set two homepages to be used by adding the pipe | but it breaks apart my profile's name at the space and goes to those names + .com (for instance, loading "my profile" with this setting would go to "my.com" and "profile.com")

http://www.scroogle.org/scraper.html|ht ... yahoo.com/

also I would like to use a different source than google for this option and not use a downloaded list

"Tell me if the site I'm using is a suspected forgery"
I want to use scroogle instead. How can I change this option?

Is there a section for Browser help not specific to Web design?
I am mainly concerned with loading certain content(with certain addons required) and having a nearest total secure browser (or browser profile) for searches outside this parameter. Thank you.

And about your profile issue. What are you trying to do exacly? Like load up pages in different profiles to test settings on a page?

Sorry I'm a little lost in what you want to do exaclty.

The reason I prefer scroogle is because it allows an anonymous IP upon use of the google engine.
I think I figured it out...
I am able to click on a button(on my quick launch) which loads the profile manager. After loading the profile manager I then choose a profile to load then click "start firefox."
I would like to have separate buttons for this process so that button A loads profile A, button B loads profile B, et cetera, instantaneously instead of me manually inputting the selection and clicking "start firefox." Savy? Sveh?
