Here's a question, I'm using ghost for the first time to back up my pc--I'm wondering if all my files (music, pictures, projects etc) will be backed up as well.

from what I understand of ghost, it just makes a mirror of your current hard drive. So to answer your question yes it would copy everything on your drive. Now the size of the ghost image will probably be pretty big. So you might need a tape back up, mutliple CD's, one or two DVD's or some other mass media storage to store the image, Enjoy :D

I see! I also see there's an option to save the backup as a file or copy to cd/dvd. I'm assuming I'll need several cd's to burn this right?

Well it really depends on how much stuff you have on your drive and how well the ghost will compact it. Those are just a few of the variables. But more than likely you will need multiple CD's or one or two DVD's. Cd's hold anywhere from 600mb to 700mb and I think DVD's hold around 4.3 gig. Enjoy :D

correct...all it will do when a disk is full is ask for a new one and continue.
easy as pie...unless of course, you have dvd like MD suggests, then that
liklihood is far less. :)
