Notepad++ fails to load langs.xml

For some reason now, whenever I open notepad++ it fails to load langs.xml

This means no matter what file I open, *.php, *.html, *.css, etc. etc. it opens them as plain text and not PHP code, HTML code CSS code, etc. etc.

And then I have to go through each tab/page I open and select the language I want it to use to highlight, but since langs.xml isn't loaded, it isn't complete syntax highlighting that it shows me... which is annoying. Syntax highlighting is like a road-map to the code for me... without it, I'm lost.

Any help in solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I figured out why... I am missing the langs.xml

I guess I'm just going to have to reinstall notepad++

i just use Dreamweaver and loads everything without a issue
