there is so much here to search through. I don't mind doing the reading, if some one could point me in the right direction. thanks.
MY prob. when computer boots I get the ntoskrnl.exe corrupt or missing REGARDLESS of which hard drive I use(one of the hard drives I've used has no OS on it).
when I use the original drive in another machine it boots fine.
I don't think the make or model is the issue here, but just in case
its a presario SR1820NX, with XPH, ABN-LA motherboard. thanks for any help I may receive.

Reset the BIOS to defaults & try it again.

thanks for the reply. have removed CMOS battery already.
sorry I forgot to mention that it wont allow me access to use the keyboard or mouse.
