ntoskrnl.exe missing or corrupted problem and more please help

I have windows xp home edition installed on one of my computers and when I start it up today i got the usual ntoskrnl.exze missing or currupted and when I open up the recovery console I dont have the directory to choose from like Im supposed to.... what should i do now??

I'd recommend a Repair Install of XP.
