[SOLVED] open IMG file

Hey

I have an IMG file, which is over 2 GB

This is some software I need to install

How would I go about accessing this software

I know the IMG file, is a Disk Image, how do i make it readable.

I know I have to burn it do a DVD, but so i need to do something with it. or will it automaticly work.

To burn it you will need a DVD burner and a burning program that can handle DVD's, most do.

If you need a temporary fix just to install the software look at using Daemon Tools. This creates a virtual CD/DVD drive in which you can mount the IMG file to it and it will open just like it was a CD.

i wentto select burn image to DVD but it is saying that its an unkown Format.

I am using Nero Express 6

Do not use Nero Express. Use Nero burning ROM.

Glad you got it sorted though.
