Hi All

I am using Outlook 2007 for my email
It was working OK until now

Whenever I receive email, I get an indication that I am receiving them but Outlook does not display them in my inbox.

After investigation, I found that all of my email is being sent to the server trash.

I sent myself an email and saw that it was received on the server.
When I do a send/receive, I get an indication that I am receiving the email, but then it is not displayed. When I check the server trash, I found it in there.

I did a repair but it did not help

Can someone help me out here

Thanks

Something weird going on.

I read somewhere where you can change the view for the inbox to "unread messages only"
When I did this, all my emails appeared, even the ones I thought were sent to the server trash, for which was not really the case.

If I switch back to view "messages" then even though I receive the emails, they are not displayed. When switch to view unread message, I can then see them.

I never had to do this before. Viewing only Messages in the inbox did not give me a problem before but now it does.

Anyone have any explanation for this

thanks

Are you receiving mail from an exchange server or from an external pop account?

If your emails are still there on your Web Mail from rogers, i would just delete your email account from outlook and recreate it

Make sure you enable the option to retain emails on your rogers server if you are prompted to.

Set it up like you were starting from scratch

You'll most likely need to know your rogers pop and smtp server address in the setup

Hi

I had read somewhere to do exactly what you are saying and I did that.

It was after doing from scratch that I found about changing to view unread messages which solved my problem.

I still want to know what happened to cause this
