Outlook and Bellsouth

My In-Laws set up a outlook( i think 2002 or 2003) for there Bellsouth account. It seems that my Mother In-Law does not like Outlook but is unable to view her E-mails from mail.bellsouth.net itself. Can I just remove the account from Outlook and it will be visable from bellsouth again? Or is there something I need to do?

Setting your e-mail account up in Outlook has no affect on whether or not you can view your e-mail online.

bellsouth.net redirects me to http://my.att.net/

I think if you click on the e-mail icon to the right and enter in your username and password you will be fine.
