Please help!! After composing messages in Outlook XP and the message fonts and format look great, I will sometimes go back to my sent items and print a message out and it looks all goofy. Most of the time, my font will change to Arial from Times New Roman and go to a 12 point instead of 10 point.

I went to tools-> options-> mail format and switched it from HTML to Rich Text format and it seems to have helped.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

Thanks,
Kayla

You are probably using fonts that are not necesseraly found on other PCs...

So the most common fonts will be selected as defaul (Times New Roman or Arial).

So actually if you want to send a super type of messages you'll have to record it as a pic (yes, sound weird, but its the only way to preserve fonts and shapes)
Just wish that they will open your message to check it :D

Hope that helped :)

Thanks for the reply, but I am not following.

I guess I am not sure how the message looks after the other person opens it, but on my end, when I go back into my sent messages and pull up the original message, that's when I see that the font changed in some of the message??

Who knows?

Ok..

Well actually the sent box will show you the mail as it should appear at the receiver place...

So the fonts you are using are not found on all the computers...it will use instead of them fonts that are usually found everywhere...

...

As for the image part...you just right your mail in a Image editor (use whatever font you want) save it...and send it...
It will keep its shape...

Thanks. I followed you now. I never knew that your sent messages show up like the receiver sees it. Hmmm.

I will try the image editor.

Again, thanks!!
