hey i just purchased my Sony VAIO VGC-JS190J all-in-one PC and its a pretty good unit how ever i the main reason for purchasing it was to play my Microsoft fsx. i am able to play the game but i have had to drastically give up most of the graphics or/ have had to turn down the settings on the fsx so the fsx game would play smoothly without any lagging. It's not the worst but i wanna know if Sony or anyone else makes any better graphic cards for the Sony unit? any help would be appreciated.

Maybe, not enough memory in your RAM?

512 mb is definitely not enough RAM for FSX ... but it contradicts your statement on this website.

The specs of the Sony Vaio surpass the minimum required specs to play FSX so you should be fine. Considering it is an all-in-one PC, you are going to be hard pressed to do any upgrades at all.

According to Sony, your particular model comes with 4GB of RAM and a Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD which is more than enough for FSX which only requires 256MB minimum RAM and a 32MB video card.

Your problem is probably because you are running Vista 64 bit and FSX has issues with it.

I have tried playing with specs like that ... I advise people to quadruple those numbers.

so i think that the problem is due to the vista 64. not the ram. if the problem should be only for the vista . than i uninstalled the laptop and installed the xp in my laptop. so after installing the xp , the problem will be finished. am i right?

any suggestions. please
