xp pro reformatt

..i was looking at your reformatting techniques for windows xp...my problem is this...i tried to reformat with a startup disc(floppy) and i got to the dos screen...and upon entering format C: it didnt work..im assuming because its not fat32 is why its failing...besides using the xp disc to delete and reinstall ...is there another way ?...or am i stuck doing an uninstall with the cd?..cheers

Boot using your XP cd. And select. Remove Partition (don't know the exact English word that M$ uses.)
