problem in adding user in windows 2003

hi all
i am using windows 2003 enterprice edition.. i have a problem in adding new user. i went to computer management and then for add nw user. when i add its giving message like invalid username or some thing like not valid expression. i user inly characters. (i tried adding user name - deepak)
how to give admin privilige to a user in windows 2003.

Is the user name meeting the complexity settings? This can be change to allow the simplest names like abc and so on go to the Administrative tools --->Domain Controller Security Policy and it can be adjusted there. After you set what you want you have to do a full restart.
