I recently formatted my computer and tried to reinstall back everything. The only problem is whenever I try to play a MP3, MPG a pop up appears saying "the operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected". I also can't play any of my music videos. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Much obliged.

What operating system are you using? And I've never heard of this error before, have you tried searching for the exact error in google?

try removing the Nemo codec pack, if that fails try installing a newer version of directx that includes an upgraded version of directshow

that should fix your problem.

It's weird but I'm not sure what was going on. I had installed Win XP Pro and since I recently formatted was installing everything I could get my hands on.

It might have been the fact that I hadn't restarted my computer after installation because everything seems to work now.

Weird

But thank you for your concern.
