Sometimes, when I click on desktop icons, the properties window pops up. At times like this, I would have to right-click and click on open. That's the only way to go around the properties window.

How do I stop this from occuring (the properties window popping up instead of the application/folder or whatever I clicked on)?

I know for sure (100%) the problem is not caused by spyware, viruses, etc. This just happens from time to time.

My first guess is you have a faulty keyboard. Try replacing it.

Its not the keyboard. If it was the keyboard, it would be the same way always, but its not always.
