A small business I'm working for has everyone just connected to routers. They just bought a server and wanting to move everything running through it soon for better monitoring, but we had a problem happen this week with an employee. It seems monday he turned in his resignation without notice and skipped town and another employee that was working with him was on his computer and saw some bad sites this guy had been going to and said he saw one that may have been underage pornography. The other employee took the initative and deleted the temp internet files and browsing history. Is there a good utility to retrieve this information? Do i have any options for recovery of that log? Thnx for your help. We didn't do a background check on this guy but the policy on that is changed even though this guy was recommended. The system is a WinXP.

I assume you are talking about Internet Explorer, in which case, a restore point might work but I don't see the value of finding that information. The guy is gone, so who cares? You don't want to call the police because the current employee destroyed evidence of a possible crime. Why get him in trouble?

Thanks for the option to try a restore point. I may need the option in the future under different circumstances, but you're right, I'm not pursuing it any further. I atleast have to look to my bosses like I'm doing work. :-)

I already have something prepared to say. Thanks for the reply.

Good thinking. Try to ease out of it little by little. It should all dissolve in a short time.
