I'm not quite sure what it is. I've heard some stuff about it. How do I use it. And what are the main uses for it. Please feel welcome to ask/answer anything.

Check out this turorial:

Essentially, the registry is where settings and information about your computer/OS and other programs are stored. Extreme caution should be used if you plan on making changes to the registry. You can do major harm or render your operating system useless if you do not know what you are doing.

The main reason people edit their registry is to change settings that can't be accessed via Windows.

A google search for "Windows Registry" "tutorials" and similar will yield lots of other information on this subject.

There are many different tweaks that can be made. I wouldn't know where to start really.

Go to this site: http://www.winguides.com/registry/

There are many tweaks there you can look through.
