regedit opens in notepad, cannot "run"

I restarted my computer after installing antivirus (ESET Nod32). I noticed on the startup that a regedit-notepad opens with unreadable characters (letters and numbers), and it appears everytime I open my computer.

Please help. Thank you.

Post a hijackthis log and we should be able to help you track down what is causing that at start up.
