remote desktop no longer works

hi
one day i bought norton antivirus 2004
i installed it
the next day i went to school and got on one of the computers
(both windows xp pro)
i went into the normal windows xp remote desktop and typed in my ip address

next i got a error
could not connect to remote computer

i could do it all the times before but not now

i have checked my ip address and it's the same as before

i ave internet security by symantec and i had i enabled before and it worked

i think its this program called network probe or something

Are you using the Norton Firewall? If so, you may need to tweak things abit to get it to allow your external IP access.

hi
i uninstalled internet security today and i still have to wait to try it out

also could me reseting my router by unpluging it because i was cleaning out all the dust and installing a cd-writer

also

can you put two cd-roms on the same IDE cable

Yes, but not on the same controller as your hard drive/s
Make one the master the other the slave.

The rule is 2 IDE drives per controller.
